Unitec Gradfest

November 29th 2012 was a momentous day, marking the completion of a bachelor degree and the celebration of many years hard work for myself and nine other fellow students from Unitec's, building 76, "the home of contemporary craft and design".
It was an evening to remember with well over two-thousand people attending the 2012 Unitec Gradfest opening night - Celebrate the creative minds of the future.
At least 500 of these guests visited a room the size of a small house at Unitec's Building One over a four hour period. This is where our collaborative exhibition titled Verb was installed during the week long event.

The space was complete mayhem with barely any room to move most of the night and it was a pleasure to see such a turn out, it certainly boosted our energy levels after many days and nights putting the exhibition together. From the responses we gathered it seemed visitors were genuinely impressed with the range and quality of work on display and left the exhibition gleaming.

As they say, "the proof is in the pudding", so for those that couldn't make it, check out pictures from the event on the Thinkers & Makers website. Thank you to Ben Jarret for the fantastic feature!
